Messiah Echo
In the star-crossed Promise land,
dry tree field of Canaan,
there was planted in the fallow ground
a long vertical
and horizontal pole
It was tall enough to hang a man without sin;
it was wide enough to nail a holy body,
which would absorb every sin that ever been
And many hearts cried that day,
looking up at the vertical and horizontal pole
While in the graveyard sky
was buried a Messiah echo
And on resurrected winds,
the Savior’s voice is still heard today
That horrifying day,
when they removed the Son of God’s body
from the two tall poles,
they placed it in an regal earthen hole
It was a burial befitting a king
And many hearts still cry today,
in remembrance of that dreadful day
And for two days,
the graveyard sky
fell silent
But on the third day,
the broken body, which died upon
the vertical and horizontal pole,
was miraculously healed
For from the barren ground arose
the Holy Redeemer of souls
Now and forever,
wherever the salvation winds blow
The erupting graveyard sky reverberates
with the voice of the Messiah’s echo
