Message of Love

It is completely dark outside With the faint sound of a wind chime Ringing in the night winter breeze Bringing beautiful music to my ears With a soft chiming of relaxation Carefully easing the restless mind - As if a message of love - Can be heard softly in the silence - From somewhere - Heidi Sands 12/14/18

Amazing how we find solace in wind chimes and wind breeze..as if the nature reaches out to us when we most need to feel loved. Excellent capture of moment experienced by many..reaching out from somewhere as you say..superbly done, Heidi.

This is so sweet - so perfectly sweet and touching especially after feeling the heaviness of my poem about losing Dad. They very much connect to me (your poem and mine because of your last line.) I felt this and loved that it was so. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Oh, Honey - I'm okay, not down - please read my comment to your comment as written on the comment section of my sad poem where you commented and I then commented back. See, I'm fine - my silly is not diminished this day. But, really read and then you'll be relieved.

Heidi, this is poetry at its finest. You allow the reader to share this calming feeling with you and absorb its message of love. When my friend Joyce Johnson's brother passed, I felt hopeless to offer consolation until I found pretty crystal wind chimes at a country store. In sending it to her, it was my hope she would feel the message of her brother's love whenever there was a breeze. You have captured this so perfectly! A fave for me. Hugs, Carolyn
