He came to earth with an outstretched hand…
Offering love and peace to every man.
In His life, He’d show us how to know the One
Who made a way through the darkness,
Into the light of true joy
He came to earth to show the world…
The meaning of grace, the meaning of hope
In His life, He’d share so much with us…
Wonder that stirs the heart to believe
And reminds the soul to receive the spirit
Who will bring us the truth – such a truth
He came into this world to give us the chance…
To grow and become – like Him,
The light of the world, the light glistening
With hope and joy, wonder and grace, amazing
Faith that abides inside those who know…
The love that only He can inspire inside of us
He came to earth to remind each one…
The heavenly Father is the Creator, the Author
Of everything good – light and love, grace
From above, where there lives the answer
To every prayer, every petition – the real answer
To every need that we’ll ever have
In Him, I found my reason to believe
My hope and my faith,
The love that will bring me through
Every sorrow and doubt…
Love that is alive… inspired by His light
