Merry Christmas
Christmas comes one day of the year
Delightful as we anticipate it
Each wanting it to be even more special
Furious in her determination to be better than last year
Greeting each other with enthusiasm
Hugs and kisses rampant
Illustrious Christmas, we apologize this year
Jumbled bits of emotion as 2020 is so odd
Knowledge that a vaccine is coming makes me smile.
Let us all hope things will be back to normal by next Christmas.
