Mermaids Contest
Under the deep waters next to the ocean floor a sight I have never seen before
With a silver tail swinging to and fro with beauty beyond compare.
Not seen I hide behind a coral rock just watching her in awe
There are many mermaids in the sea but never have I seen one such beauty
So much time has elapsed I was running out of air I had to surface to catch my breath
As I swam to the top I saw out of the corner of my eye as she winked at me
Soon I had reached the top and there she was wiggling her tail at me
Shocked and surprised we then looked deeply into each other’s eyes
A love at first sight one might say
Between a Merman and Mermaid
