Memories of You

Black clouds illuminate the skies The same skies that I once shared with you Melting memories through wet eyes Memories through the dandelions you blew Memories are all that remain as time flies Memories of just exactly who? Those bounded pretty memories, I reminisce The bad parts fade away, just like we did Can't we come together anew? Only to drift apart that one last time

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The Lord's blessings be with you.
