Memories of You-Rithimus Divisa

I'll be thinking of you as the cloak of night weeps lullabies to the waiting moon, where morning star through cloudless sky sips the sweet of morning dew, still, if the light should forget to shine, the beauty of you time can not impugn as in my mind, yet your sweet smile, whispers the secrets of the one I knew. A sincere congratulations on your 4th Place win in the Rithimus Divisa 3 Poetry Contest, James - this was such a tough one to judge, with so many wonderful writes, that it came down to small things in the end. Many kind thanks for submitting, and especially for your patience - this is a gem to be proud of! Blessings, My Friend! - the bard

Gregory, thank you for hosting this wonderful contest. I'm in the middle of reading all of the winners and I understand the difficulty you've had in choosing them. Thank you again.

Oh I do hope this gets a win . It would be so deserving. YOU are so good at writing, and I agree with Michael down here. You are a real class act, Ralph. thanks for seeing me recently. I don't have as much time to be here as I used to. Can't believe you put this up in April and I never even saw it. I pray you will stay well during this stupid plandemic. Life will never be the same again and it saddens me greatly.

This write is another example my friend. Three people have only commented so sad to know that such a writing is not seen by many. Its like a Monet painting being covered and not seen.

James I read the comment about you not having it in you to write poems anymore. At the level that you write most writers could not achieve. What you have written in the past can be thought of as an achievement that very few people can ever attain, including myself. If you walked away today your writings and contributions would always be cherished by the few that can appreciate and understand at the highest level of creativity. Your entitled to take a break from your thought process.

You're too kind Michael, thank you. You can't imagine how much this comment means to me. For two years now I have worked so much that I thought the lack of time was why I haven't written much, but with my limited work during the virus I have had ample time to produce several poems and the words are just not there. I have several ideas but thus far they have not come to fruition, perhaps someday.

Wow, this is wonderful! Superb imagery. I like the parting line: Let your sweet smile, whispers the secrets of the one I knew. Goodluck!
