Memories In Silly Things
I know it sounds so silly to cry over old oven mitts,
but, I still have mothers and they make me cry
because I recall all the cooking she did for us
I can see her very clearly in her kitchen
it is an image that I hold very dear
I even kept her stained apron
those things are memories
that I hold so precious
stained oven mitts
and an apron_
