Memories Are Forever
memories are forever…
the sun
announces the day
and night births
the moon
like cooling water
love quenches
the thirst of peace
and tranquility resides
in the mist of life
freedom must be
fought for and won
only life its self
is given
and in time
it too
is taken away
but memories—memories
are forever
memories: cranial tombstones
without graves.
