MEMORIES AND GHOSTS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Memories flicker like fireflies,* each one a tiny spark, lighting the shadows of my mind— the laughter of family, the warmth of a lover’s embrace, the bittersweet taste of farewells. They hover just beyond reach, fading like a ghost, yet vivid, like the last notes of a song lingering in the air. *Note: The phrase 'memories flicker like fireflies' is a common phrase used in poetry and literature. It's not my original phrase. Giving credit where credit's due.

Memories are like the sparks of a firefly. They flash and fade out quickly, bringing to mind sweet and sour remembrances. Lovely comparison of memories to fireflies and ghosts. There's a problem with my laptop, sorry
