Memories

Memories are often made unawares Without due notice in their prime, As we quickly move from this to that, We hardly recognize them at the time. Focusing on the next thing, after all, Sometimes crowds out the present In the present we are experiencing What only tomorrow will fond recall. Written June 6, 2022

Memories are so easy to bring out - all it takes is a color, a smell, a look, or something unexpected. Nice one.

So true Milton, I think modern living moves at a fast pace compared to years ago, nowadays people are in a rush and haven't got the time of day and I think we miss so much maybe just catching just a small part of what could be a pleasant memory. Tom

Tom, so much slips by us and is lost forever. It is a shame, but it's the way of the modern world we live in.

Thanks, Jenna. Yes, indeed. The flip side is that, in moving so quickly along, we miss some memorable moments we will never recall.
