Memories
the air is full of years that have passed
and my tears still flow like waves upon a vast ocean
many times, I have whispered why
all my beloved slumber in the silent dust
in their eternal repose
and often, I go to just sit- remembering
before those shiny black and those old mossy stones
sitting upon the new emerald grass weeping
thinking that these stones are
the only things that show they lived
except for the memories
that I will always keep in my heart
till my own last breath
then, I too will be a name engraved
