"Summer snow" is an intriguing oxymoron that casts an ambiguous light on "nostalgic moonlight". Whether one loves snow or not makes the melting snow either sad or satisfying... which is what I love about this short statement - it allows the reader to go either way in their interpretation. Wonderful poetry, Michelle.

That line was inspired by a summer I spent in Montana, and on one August morning, there was light snow on the ground - it melted quickly, though-
