Melancholy Face

In valleys, crevices are hidden by trees That scars the most perfect virgin jade terrain On hill tops, boulders of size try to appease Giving structure to vast miles of open plain Coastal shores sprayed by frequent salty sea breeze All pelted by creation of acid rain Defaced by wars upon wars without just means Still depleting all that is alive and green Copyright © 2011 By Caryl S. So well penned and so true, Caryl! Acid rain is still a problem here! So many affected trees are easily uprooted by storms...Tahnk you for your kind comments and have a great week!...Gert
