May We Meet Again
May we meet again
On the other side of time-
Where our story ends well,
With happiness and elation,
Instead of crippling devastation.
May we meet again
When the moon is at its apex,
And we can gaze at the stars uninterrupted,
And dream of all that we can have,
Instead of all that we have lost.
May we meet again
When my heart is stronger.
When I am ready to be loved,
To be chosen and cherished;
When I can take your hand and be in incandescent bliss.
But for now we'll drift,
And I'll look for you in everything.
Until we meet again-
On the other side of time,
When the moon is at its apex;
When my heart is stronger.
