May I Ask Your Name, Please
An old face looks into a mirror,
the confusion floats over her,
struggling with her memory.
Who are you she wonders?
I am a young girl,
just seventeen,
this summer!
See my,
dress!
It is pink and frilly and pretty,
mother made it for my party!
She smiles at the reflection,
but it fades and withers,
leaving an old face.
Oh hello dear!
May I ask,
your name,
please?
