May I Always Remember Thee
O gracious Lord, please forgive me
I am always thinking of this body
Busy with chores, often I forget thee
I know you are within, this skin you embody
All day long I think of this mortal skin
Forgetting you, I think of everybody
You are my love, my life, my only kin
May your holy presence fill my mind
grace my existence such that I never sin
Erase all bodily attachments that bind
In you and your words, let me find joy
In you and only you, may my mind be inclined
When in agony, faith in you let me deploy
With your blessings, salvation I hope to enjoy
