Sign of the Times

Speakers of fallacy rise up, Imparting words that turn man against man, Generating anger and suspicion among Nations worldwide. One God reigns, but imposters create Fear To stir the embers of Hatred, residue of countless wars. Even the most faithful begin To doubt their core beliefs. It is not too late to Mete justice and stand up for truth, lest the End-of-the world prophesy may find Souls of the faithful entering heaven as Earth ignites. *April 24, 2018 Inspired by Matthew 24:4-14

Yes i agree with Richard, sad days. love the poem, Carolyn. does seem somehow the old values are diminishing. I feel from my prospective, the new world began in the 80's and we are beginning to reap what was then sowed...hope you are keeping well.

A wise message. In California they are trying to ban the Bible saying it is hate literature. These are sad days.

I can remember times when many books were banned - classic literature like "Catcher in the Rye." And in the 1800s there were those who thought Whitman's works were too erotic. Indeed, sad days, Richard.
