Matter's Illusion

Matter's eternal
Not created nor destroyed
Endlessly it is.

Molecules combined
Created life's illusion
Serving no purpose

Life makes no matter
The burden of conscious thought
purpose ever sought

I can tell you are a deep thinker Joe. These haiku provide a lot of inspiration for thought. Best to you, Diane

Joe, we are all burdened by "conscious thought" as we try to sort through life's illusion. Indeed, matter is eternal but our thoughts seem fleeting. Well said, my friend. Love, Carolyn

HI, Joe, thanks for your sweet comment on my poem today. Of these, the first one is my favorite. I enjoyed the double meaning of Matter that was employed when you said Life makes no matter in the third one. NO matter about the matter! An interesting haiku string!

These are three decently written haiku. In the first line of your second entry, your word "molocules" is correctly spelled "molecules". Everything else looks fine.
