Man I Am exhausted

So much effort goes into feeling well...Man, I’m exhausted! There’s nausea from supplements, the squeak and throb, Just One More Rep!~ exercising… Man, I’m exhausted! As much effort going into relaxation – rush to get things done (always a backup of things); shuffle schedules, get sitters for the animals – Man, I’m exhausted! Even love, the chores, the cards, the gifts, the emotional lifts...honey-does seeming to have endless reserves, never running short on pantries of exhaustion. Someday, probably, I’ll wake-up, unpleasantly surprised and find myself either stoking furnaces, fluffing angel wings while polishing the backside of clouds – Man, give me a break! Ouch!~ finally something I asked for….

I loved reading this wonderful write. I say, if I had 2 more days to a week, I would be OK. Sounds like you also need 2 more days to your week. Do you know where we can buy those 2 more days??? Hahaha!!! Have a wonderful day with some rest....................

You need some vitamins and a regular rest period. Finally, you'll get what you want.

So to the point and well said, my friend: Man, I’m exhausted! As much effort going into relaxation – rush to get things done (always a backup of things); shuffle schedules, get sitters for the animals – Man, I’m exhausted!--exactly--you speak for us all! I feel the glimmer of hope in the ending line, Joe.

We do feel run ragged by life often. What the heck. I'm, certain, like I you just grin and bear it. Push ahead bravely.

your poem brought a smile to my face...how often we all need a break. I suppose even angels in heaven need a break. I loved that last verse. Outstanding, Joe. I appreciate your creativity and poetic voice, Sara

Thank you, Deb; with all the important subjects to write about, I have to write some nonsense, every now an then, just to keep on healthy ground. Blessings my friend.
