Man An' the Moon
The moon emerged from the lonely skies
dew-filled her lovely eyes
how she wished she could some day
sail on earth, kiss the green, if she may.
Here I was lying, on the sweet green grass
'n me the eyes of the celestial lass
The two exchanged glances of nothingness
she could n't wink at me, playfully poised the princess
her each little move, guarded by the suspicious stars
here on earth, I shook my head, I too had enough bars.
Scholastic youth!,Books the first an' last reliance
com' on friends! I stood up an' said, "I am trully today, a man of science!"
