Mama Memories
laying on the floor
her hands and feet would lift me ~
i was an airplane
she blew up balloons
to magic twist animals ~
i was entertained
she taught me stitches
used in skilled embroidery ~
i was craft threaded
she drew paper dolls
and clothes for me to cut out ~
i was valued fun
she read tales aloud
that fueled my fantasies ~
i was hooked on books
she gave me her time
shared her skills and joys with me ~
i was mother loved
