for the 6 line contest
I beckoned over the local scoundrel did he charm me or did I charm him? locked eye to eye, he seemed hungry entranced, unaware of traffic lured to the safety of my arms I stroked his rough ginger fur and he fled

Ah this is such a different six liner! Love how youv done it! Iv been listening to one of my closest friends that live in the Uk talk about a stray ginger cat that is so cute and they were finding a home for the cat, which i thought was so thoughtful, because they have already four cats . Your poem is so beautifully delivered as always! Best wishes for the contest

I wrote it then wondered what on earth I was going to do with the poem haha - maybe he is actually Van Gogh lol this cat has several homes I think, although he likes to stay out a lot. He is handsome but looks like he could be mean. He met my dog once and stared him out and my dog just collapsed sideways in fear! It was the funniest thing I'd every seen. My dog commando crawled away then acted like nothing had happened :)

It was a fantastic ginger tom cat - strangely his picture was on Facebook when I got home as he is such a popular guy everyone frequently wonders where he lives :) there are a few beautiful foxes around but not sure I'd stroke a fox. Thank you for stopping by :)

Haha I just wrote this quickly on the way back from the school run - on the way to school we'd been admiring a grey shorthair sat inside on a windowsill and clicking to get it's attention and Frankie I think he might be called came out of the bushes to see if we had food (he does the rounds, although we have a dog so he skips us). I am tempted to start walking with cat treats in my pocket - he is lovely :)
