        I imagine angels
in azure blue gowns
  with white wispy wings
and flowers woven in their hair
saints gather in emerald cloaks
& rich red, pink, rose, & yellow
     with edging of embroidery
I see a grand temple made of
                  gold bricks
where birds of all kinds
   fly free
the landscape beyond
is muted greens & blues
    on the temple walls
rich flower tapestry hang
among grand paintings
both sensual & elaborate
in rich hues
        the subjects have a
erotic appeal 
     & distant coolness
then, a red curtain falls
in my dream
& I wake to a
              sun dappled room
