~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The moon is a loyal companion. It never leaves. It’s always there, watching, steadfast, knowing us in our light and dark moments, changing forever just as we do. Every day it’s a different version of itself. Sometimes weak and waning, sometimes strong and full of light. The moon understands what it means to be human. Uncertain. Alone. Cratered with imperfections. bright, the near full moon craters loom like gray flowers waning and waxing

Sara, your perspective and representation of the moon is brilliant. The moon has held such significance to our species and and is present in every culture. I am as fascinated with this poem as we are about the moon. Well done!

What’s there not to love about lunar musing, i always enjoy reading a poem about moon and its that time of the month again, the moon is citrine, and almost full, i think it will be full tomorrow night for us, and i am just excited, for some reason she makes me feel so many things. I loved your haibun. So well crafted and delivered. The moon definitely understands. How you’ve thought so deeply about moon is exactly how i think too dear sara. I feel like moon feels me.
