For a friend of mine, who became grandma for the first time this week :)
They didn't tell me I would melt
The very second that I held
You in my loving arms
You, so infinitely small
Oh little one, oh little doll
My tears flow free and warm
I diminish, shrivel and I shrink
My tears flow, I try to blink.
Bundle of pure love,
Cocooned pup against my neck
Oh little one, oh tiny fleck
No bigger than my glove

I love you unconditionally
Always be my little baby.
I'll forever be your grandma
And you my lovely Luna.
