Luna
The moon, my only celestial company
When I cannot sleep nor dream.
She looms behind the trees,
Illuminating through the clouds.
She oversees all whom remain restless through the night,
Bringing light to those who feel so in the dark alone.
She is the luminary I see through my window,
Wrapped in the darkness of dusk.
The moon, although sometimes invisible,
She is my only company when I feel so lonely.
She rises through the night, setting near dawn,
Carries me with her as I fall asleep.
She takes me on a journey in the world of dreams,
Flying together to the other side of the world.
She brings me home in the eve,
Promising that soothing moonlight
Shall always be above for me to see.
