Lukewarm Lethal
Some people got ice cold demands;
frozen core empathy
and a granite-gloved heart
Others got hot-temper lava souls;
unstable magma pleas,
very volcanic emotional
But it’s the tepid, lukewarm hands
that you must be most mindful of
Their disaffected ways
are scorpion dangerous
Lukewarm lethal ... neither hot nor cold
Whatever situation you’re in,
they could care less,
either way how it goes
If it goes good ... yay,
if it goes bad ... hoo-ray
Whatever you wanna hear,
that’s what lukewarm lips are gonna say
If ever there’s any doubt
about a lukewarm taste in your mouth:
Spew it out!
Lukewarm souls be lethal people —
they can go wicked cold,
and can get hot evil
With the bifurcated tongue,
they can spit deliver differing temper-atures
If you’re in danger of losing every thing,
lukewarm lips gon tell you,
go teach your kids how to beg in the rain
If you get a modest windfall,
lukewarm lips are gon say: that ain’t enough,
scheme on how to take it all
Discern the distinction
between that wax mask and the rubber disguise
So whenever you’re being hawk targeted
by lukewarm lethal eyes,
you should be on dove alert and be sparrow wise
