How do I love God… I wonder silently
Do I send Him prayers
Praise Him with all my dreams
Do I love Him with my laughter
With my poetry
Do I love Him with my soul
When I listen to His scriptures
How do I love God… I wonder to myself
Do I whisper my adoration
On the hymns I sing
Do I breathe praise into my wishes
For His light to embrace me
Do I linger in the hues of His creativity
His creation
How do I love God… with all of my heart
Do I simply feel His blessings
Poured out upon my soul
Do I know His love – without conditions
Capturing my heart
With love that is so tender
It feels like stardust sparkling
Inspiration into my spirit
How do I love God… I welcome Him within
Where His Holy Spirit reflects the sweetness
Of grace so vibrant and soothing
Love so alive and moving
The light of joy that brings me truth…
I love Him with my spirit
I love Him with my thoughts
I love Him with my kindness
I love Him with my heart
How do I love God?
I love Him with my all!
