Love's Expressions
Love's expressions
are infinite...
or few as a timid
heart will allow:
Too often we genuflect
at the altar of despair –
of love thinking one
has been destined
no share;
never to know
a place, in the warmth
of an-other's embrace –
But love need only
an inviting trace
as the rose will to a
sliver of light open...
no heart ever made
to be eternally broken –
