Caressing thoughts, kissing dreams
Christmas comes along to bring…
Light to the heart, light to the tree
Who silences every doubt or fear,
Whispers warmth into the air…
Kindness into the soul who quietly listens
To the music of God’s Holy Spirit
Reminding each soul…
Jesus is living to give us
Hope for today, hope for tomorrow
Hope for the promises…
Only He could make to us
Reminding each thought…
Jesus is the star, the light
Who wipes away every tear
Hushes every lonely fear
Quiets the heartbroken year
He is guide. He is smile.
He is the wonder who lingers inside…
Erasing the doubts,
Coloring the soul in music, a melody
Tender and gentle, like the feelings
Who bleed through the past, into the now
Stirring alive the breath of praise,
The sensations of grace, the prayers
Peace that flows through the veins…
Creating inspiration that brings
To life all the kindness, the warmth and affection
Every good thing – every dream, all the blessings
He is the One who saves everyone
Without Him, you’re forlorn…
With Him, you abide in LOVE
Happy Birthday to my Savior, my Lord
The One who saved me from the darkest storm
