Lovely Meeting

A man getting on in years meets a sweet young woman They chat and at the end of the conversation He offers here his business card "Sweet" she says The age difference may prevent this spark of love from turning into a fiery romance Still it was nice At 60 a 25 year old woman may be out of reach for a man The time we have is brief When two souls meet the years melt away temporarily We are on a carousel One should reach for the brass ring While there is still time Passion is not just for youth They say that time wears away even mountains But time is only an enemy if you let it be one Heats can transcend the barrier of time Eyes still glow even as the clock heads toward its final destination!

I met this woman a synagogue during Friday night services. It was her first time there and we talked about our jobs and other things. She won't call me - I did give her my card - but it was nice while it lasted. Today I went to a writing workshop Peace & Love Matthew Anish

This is beautiful Matthew. My ex mother in law married a man 30 years her junior. They lived happily until she died. There were doubts from family and friends at first but soon they were accepted as a couple and age disappeared from the equation. Kudos on this amazing piece. ; ) 7
