Lovely As the Dawn

A poem lovely as the dawn
 With gems of dew upon the lawn

 From an empty page words will spark
 As dawn once more defeats the dark

 Bringing to us a day thats new
 Lovely skies of tangerine too

 And birds sweetly sing from the trees
 To usher in a gentle breeze

 Words will flow from the poet's pen
 As light meanders in the glen

 New possibilties come our way
 Thank the Lord for a brand new day
