Loveless Sweet thorns embrace the heart living in pain, which never uttered soft a lovesick sigh. Such judged that passion’s not a value gained. Loveless in life, the time had passed on by. As empty years progress, one grows deranged, left in a box where broken dreams do lie. God’s promise is for His love to restore, the injured soul deprived of it before.

Sad and beautiful all at the same time. I'm trying to learn the poetry forms and I really like this one. Not sure I can do it...but I do like it.

Wow! not a topic I read about every day. Loveless humanity is the object of God's grace. Reminds me of that book by Dave Pelzer - A Child Called It. Congratulations, Janis, well placed.

Yes, but we don't have to wait to die to receive it.
