Loveless
Sweet thorns embrace the heart living in pain,
which never uttered soft a lovesick sigh.
Such judged that passion’s not a value gained.
Loveless in life, the time had passed on by.
As empty years progress, one grows deranged,
left in a box where broken dreams do lie.
God’s promise is for His love to restore,
the injured soul deprived of it before.
