Love without hope Love without hope, as child craves to hold moon, Holding the strings tight, let go not the air balloon, As chirping flocks fly back by dusk of twilight, balloons swiftly take off not putting up much fight. Written March 30th, 2016 For contest by Sara

Beautiful metaphor about trying to hold onto the moon-balloon. I appreciated the imagination and the thoughts it conjured ... "balloons swiftly take off not putting up much fight" ... < depending on how your outlook this can be either negative or positive ... losing love to the sky, or letting love be free. Congrats on your placement in this contest!
