Love Walked In
Love walked in, and took a bow —
Certain I was, for not a familiar face,
Surely it must be in the wrong place…
I mean, where have you been so long?
Up till now, not a Blooming Trace!
Nowhere when needed most, my heart
Forlorn with a canyon space – reconciled
To the fact that with a Soul-mate I was not blessed
From birth --
But, if you can cut the lawn, and do
General Home repair, Then~ Welcome Love,
I will Declare!
