Love Or a Fling
Once upon a time
I was on the verge of giving up on
This thing called love
Misery, sorrow, grief
Killing me softly
A living dead
A time-bomb
That historical day
Buried underneath the warmth of my pillow
I saw you
Never before in my wish list
But strange enough
Everytime that you spoke out your thoughts
My heart said right
My brain said true
Along with every little thing you did
Came pure joy
Or i shall say
The greatest happiness of the century
So they say
Love is unplanned
It just happens, cliche
And so I thought
The broken glass, fixed
The torn shirt, mended
The life puzzle, solved
But suddenly
You vanished in the thin air
As quickly as the strong wind
Blowing a tree so hard it fell
While the damn blower disappeared in the aftermath
Leaving such a huge impact on the poor tree
That it felt like digging itself down into the earth
Never to breathe again
Love
Or just a fling
Being an idiot me
I do not know, really
What I do know
In this small heart of mine
The room where you dropped by
Is empty, dark, hollow
