love on strings
a puppet on strings,
manipulated and tossed,
my worth disregarded.
foolishly I gave,
trust, love, and all my essence,
now stripped and depleted.
emptiness consumes,
a soul once vibrant and whole,
now echoes of pain.
words, like sharp daggers,
pierce through my fragile spirit,
leaving scars unseen.
unseen, yet they sting,
a constant reminder of
loves bitter demise.
fragments of trust lost,
shattered like delicate glass,
in the wake of lies.
used, like a puppet,
dancing to another's tune,
my soul, empty.
