Love Me Not
I'd fallen into you quite deeply
wearing a pair of harry carry glasses
wandering about the cities shoreline
I'd begun to weather the mean drifts
of love me not the sheer malice that
love was indeed hate in disguise absorbing
everything vulnerable about one's self shared
in order to be displayed later in a raw footage
show of complete resentment what was love
this necessary thing to allow borrowed time
before entering the kingdom of heaven
but on earth love was indeed a powerful
weapon stored stock piled into the ripples
of thy living heart arrows destined to pierce
the heart shared between the two of us
