Ottava Rima
Love is truly a gift from the heavens,
blessed gracefully on unsuspecting hearts.
Each day the feelings joyfully heighten
as lovers have emotions to impart.
Two lilting hearts flutter, at the mention
of intimacy moments on the start.
If this gift is yours then be grateful for
good times spent with a person you adore.
Think of dying without ever living
being locked inside your own selfish orb.
Never knowing the true joy of giving
for your world has you totally absorbed.
So it's best to be blessed with the loving
that comes when two souls sing on one accord.
Dear God, we humbly ask you up above
grace our meager hearts with the gift of love.
