Love Feels Like

Start out In a brand new life The little baby, Joyful and young, Grows and begins To walk and talk A personality Shapes behind The scenes with School now to Attend and new Feelings arise like Fear and anxiety But friends are gathered To help carry on Not having a care In the world about Anything else Except for that One thing caught In the corner Of the mind Jump to high school And now you Wonder why, Why you don’t Feel that thing Everyone talks about, That thing that Makes you feel Happy and excited Though also scared And frightened, The feeling that You would do Anything to keep, The feeling you Would always try To find before Everything else You have never Felt these feelings Before, you have Seen many cute And pretty girls In your life, But never have You felt even Just a spark of joy So you pass by And feel sad thinking That you might Never know that Feeling, that life Will be empty, But on your walk As you are stuck In your thoughts You bump into Someone and the Switch finally flipped, A small fire in Your stomach That slowly Starts to burn As you see the Face of the one In front of you The boy right There finally made You know what The feeling could Possibly feel like, Like you finally Felt what Love feels like Written on December 3, 2020
