Love Doesn'T Control
they want me to tell you what to do
but stop and think
what right do I have
I love you
I refuse to try controlling you
if I did what they say then what?
then I'm no better than him
he tried to control me
I won't do that to you
love isn't controlling
it may try to guide
it may ask
but it does not control
I will wait for you
even though they say not to
what do they know
you have my heart
that's what matters
I love you
and for the moment it's all I need
