you hold my gaze
fix upon my eyes and lips
then back to my eyes
'Do you believe in chaos?' I ask
'No, Babe, I don't'
'That word is just a farce ...'
'Something we created to label the things'
'That are too complex for us to yet understand'
I smile - you ask me why
'YOU are chaos', I say
'Sublimely chaotic'
raking your fingers through my hair
you cup the back of my head
pull me toward you, firm
and kiss me, letting your hair
fall between our mouths
I drink you in like salvation, divine
lips, tresses, desires, tongues, thoughts
swirling like molten madness
WE ... are chaos.
