Love and a Step Forward

Take a Step Forward Quarrel of lover's fears, tears, and laughter; I place my hands up to my ears and roll my eyes, I wonder, what are you after. When we wed, we were one body one soul. Why, does it always have to be your way? Why can't we believe life will change for us? I sigh, take a deep breath, and sneak away until the air clears and there's no more fuss. Taking a step forward, forget the dark of the past, laying it all on a pyre put it all a fire an ending to mark a new beginning a love of desire. How we have trembled with fears, tears, and strife both our lives, a bond rich meaningful life 9/27/2017

Life is about taking care of what you have and being grateful, but it's not always easy - Sometimes you can become so blind to what lies in front of us that you forget to open your eyes and see what you actually have - It's not always easy - nevertheless, one should try to appreciate the small and big things we have and do not chase all the time after what we do not have -Life goes up and down, you feel good and bad, but it forms us as human beings - Lovely poem, Eve - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

This is a glorious write my friend! I surely enjoyed the second stanza, especially the last two lines of that stanza, "I sigh, take a deep breath, and sneak away/until the air clears and there's no more fuss," I can certainly relate to that! Sometimes I must do that, get away for a few hours, just enjoying nature, to escape the life which stresses me out sometimes! What a delightful read! Great Work!!
