Love Again
I took you out of my wallet today,
I took your picture and packed it away,
As years go by, the memory fades,
And in my heart, I know it's meant to be this way,
You have gone to love on in a better place,
With no fears or worries, where your heart is safe,
And as I looked at your picture one last time,
I kissed your face and in my heart said goodbye,
I cannot hold you when your no where in sight,
And the pain of your loss had gripped me tight,
That fear has crippled me for so many years,
So scared to love beyond that fear,
Knowing now what I didn't know then,
My heart can fall in love again.
