Love

Healing comes slowly
Sins     imagined or realized

Parade violently

Forcing eyes to close
And  those dearest to flee

I have been here before

Declared my shadow
Through eyes that do not see

Revelations disappear
As history slips gently away

Memories     once sacred
Turn to dust

Love        that eternal flame

Never dies

             Never
                            dies
