Lotus Flower and Lavender

lotus flower and lavender wafting on the rim of thoughts the flame aglow flickers silhouettes on mind's walls the slow trickle of wax allures in the wake of dreams i feel you delicately tracing the edges of me my caress pulling you closer into the depths of these flames burning within your lips brush softly against mine kissing me awake dreams fade in the darkness as the candle flickers out

I get to be first! Oh, got so excited that I forgot to read the poem. BRB. **I'm back but I'm not the same as when I left, I am breathless and have decided that it should be required by law that you must write at least one FVerse poem a day for the rest of your life as needed by mankind. Andrea and I both agree you are the tops at that and this is further proof. Dog gone it - are my comments to you becoming redundant because I feel like I just keep saying 'wow' and 'you're the best'?
