Lost Upon the Withering Heights
Lost Upon The Withering Heights
~
A saddened season
Again, this silent night
Trickling like a crying river
Of crimson love and broken light
Where smoke filled rooms
Of dust and ash
Choke a candle glow
To leave a mistress
A lonely soul
To gaze the streets below
~
She writes a word upon the petal of a torn rose
And slowly dies...
