Lost Sheep

Silent and quite is each day For I no longer have anything to say My lips have been sealed For I have no ones ears to hear There are words I want to say But when I go out I do not speak I have no more words left in me No one hears what I say I feel like I am a lost sheep I will never find love again I can no longer speak that way My lips have been silenced My love has gone away I speak to her in silence each night But she no longer has ears to hear For she has no more words left to say Silent and quite each day is my life My beautiful wife has gone away I can feel her body next to mine When I dream about her each night. There are no more words to say!

This is beautiful, yet sad at the same time. Even though you may feel like you don't have anything to say, your heart is whispering softly. Love will find you, when you least expect it. Just keep your heart open. ~ Brandy

Nicely done, but very sad, Bobby. I am not an expert on poetry , but I was told if you don't know what it's called , even-though part of it Rhymes ... you'll never go wrong in calling it a Free verse ...
