Lost Moments
Each moment in time becomes a memory
A first kiss upon untouched lips now gone
The birth of a newborn their first baby steps
Disappearing memories taken away by time
Clocks ticking away all of our firsts encounters
Leaving only thought’s with only memories left.
Yet, without time moving on nothing is created
Becoming a moon without the stars and sun
Wandering through space without any time
Man created moments in time that go tick tock
Measuring and calculating our death of time
Seconds, day’s, weeks and years now all measured
Precise and accurate stealing away each moment
Before time began all had freedom from time
Mankind now relies on each moment by, watching
Taking away our free time and adding seconds to it
Adding and subtracting Life from earth
As we add one to one we now have two moments
We have educated life into believing time is correct
Animals have no conception of time or what it is
They cannot calculate the speed or distance of a car
We consider them dumb as they walk in front of our cars
Dying because they have a freedom from time elapsed
Smarter is not always better when it comes to time
Who is dumber mankind or the animals?
who are unable to measure time and are free from it.
